The festival is divided into six sections, taking place over four different days. In 2018:

The Piano sections will take place in Heaton Mersey Community Centre on Saturday 3rd March

The Strings sections will take place in Stella Maris School on Friday 2nd March Prep Test, Grade 1-6 classes: 5.30pm-8.30pm
and on Saturday 3rd March (approximate times for guidance, final timetable dependent on entries)
Large Ensemble and Y2-Y8 Own Choice classes 9am-12pm
Novice, Non-Competitive, Duets, Small Ensembles, Restricted Choice classes 1pm-4pm
Grade 7&8, Y9+ Own Choice, Recitals, Advanced classes 4.30pm-7.30pm

The Choral section takes place in St Paul's Church on Friday 9th March.

The Speech & Drama are on Friday 9th March 5.30pm-8.30pm and on Saturday 10th March in Stella Maris School.

The Vocal and Instrumental sections are on Saturday 10th March.
The Instrumental section caters for all instruments other than piano and strings.
Venues to be allocated between Heaton Mersey Community Centre and St John's Church.
